Children need Chiropractic too !!!

There is a condition that your child may have that you may not even be aware of.  It is called a Spinal Subluxation Degeneration Complex.  It is a slow, progressive and unforgiving process that results from spinal misalignment or dysfunction and eventually erodes the structure of the spine.  It usually begins in childhood and results in permanent damage.  This damage is usually associated with the neck and back pain that we suffer with as adults.  This structural damage progressively worsens and is known to cause nerve damage, even in children.

What causes these Spinal Subluxations???  The trauma of birth (especially if it was a dfficult birth), tossing your child in the air (can cause the same whiplash as experienced during a car accident), repetitive falls as they learn to walk, falling off a bicycle or the everyday bumps that happen to children will additively contribute to the developement of the Spinal Subluxation Degeneration Complex.

How does the Spinal Subluxation Degeneration Complex manifest in children?  Does your child get colds, ear aches or sore throats often?  Does your child have Colic or cry a lot for no reason?  Is your child hyperactive?  Are they bedwetters?  If yes, it may be worthwhile for you have your child checked.

Watch your child when they walk or stand.  See if one shoulder or hip is higher than the other.  Is one of their foot pointed out or in?  Those are good first indications that your child may need to be checked.

Even if your child passed their scoliosis exam at school, they may still have a potential problem that is progressing.  The reason being is that the type of testing used to rule out scoliosis in kids at school, is better at detecting the problem at its later, more severe stages.  The early detection of scoliosis, especially during its initial phases are important to the success in treatment of scoliosis conditions.
